A Hotel is Full-On Theatre

"A hotel is no longer just about providing a good bed and a warm shower," as stated by IHA Event Manager, Mieke Berkers.

"The level of quality and luxury are increasingly more often found within the details. How do the bed sheets feel, what does the hotel room smell like, do the hotel lighting, and background music change accordingly throughout the day, what flavours are experienced during breakfast, and how well is the hotel room designed? A hotel is a full-on theatre, all the different facets together determine the level of quality and luxury of a hotel and amplify the hotel concept. Guests are getting more demands and hoteliers aim to lead the way. Hotels are becoming meeting places where like-minded people live, work, and relax."
