Graduating in Media and Marketing, Tara joined Virgin Atlantic and was successfully placed on the ‘Fast Track scheme’. After moving back home to the Midlands, Tara took up the role of Marketing and Events Manager launching the newly developed Knights Suite event space at Mallory Court Hotel. This is where she was “bitten by the Hotel bug”. Tara was appointed as Sales and Marketing Director in 2008 and was also co-architect in the creation of Eden Hotel Collection, which grew into an 8 strong Hotel collection over the next 7 years, acquiring Bovey Castle in 2016. “Eden Hotel Collection has offered me the opportunity to be creative, grow and develop within the company. The landscape is everchanging and evolving so there is never any time to stand still”. Having sat on the Board for Shakespeare’s England Regional DMO for South Warwickshire for several years in July 2022 Tara was appointed Chair and has successful steered a restructure and LVEP Accreditation collaborating with the wider Warwickshire area fulfilling her passion and pride for the area.
