Rachel Dobson
Rachel Dobson is Managing Director of hospitality purchasing specialist Lynx Purchasing. Her 40-year career in the sector began with roles in hotel operations and purchasing with Mount Charlotte Hotels. She became Group Purchasing Manager for Principal Hotels in 1995, and then with Le Merdien Hotels & Resorts in 2001. Rachel joined Lynx Purchasing in 2006 and was appointed Managing Director in 2016. Lynx has remained true to its ‘no contract, no membership’ founding ethos, and in recent years has maintained both growth and profitability across some of the toughest trading conditions the hospitality sector has experienced. Lynx now works with more than 2,200 accounts across the full breadth of the hospitality and catering sector. Rachel is routinely quoted in the hospitality media commenting on supply and pricing issues
