Laura Sharpe
An experienced and passionate hospitality professional with a proven track record in luxury hotel operations. Currently the Director of Operations at Firmdale Hotels, a role which I have been in since 2022, I oversee our award-winning portfolio of boutique properties in London and New York, with a particular focus on driving excellence in both rooms and food & beverage operations.
Prior to this I was General Manager of Ham Yard Hotel, where I led the team for eight years from pre-opening through to its recognition as Hotel of the Year in 2018. That same year, I was honoured with the Cateys Manager of the Year award. Over my career with Firmdale Hotels, I have held a variety of leadership positions, each deepening my commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and nurturing high-performing teams.
Firmdale Hotels is a collection of 11 boutique properties—eight in London and three in New York—renowned for their individually designed interiors, stylish bars and restaurants, and warm, personal service. I am proud to be part of a company that continues to set new standards in both boutique luxury hospitality and food & beverage
