General Manager, The Mandrake

Eljesa Saciri, recently appointed General Manager of The Mandrake Hotel, is continuing to make a significant impact in the hospitality industry as the first female General Manager of the esteemed hotel, solidifying her position as a leader and advocate for equality in a traditionally male-dominated field.
With nearly a decade of experience in hospitality, Eljesa brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. Having previously held key positions at The Zetter and before that, The Doyle Collection, she has built a strong foundation of expertise across all aspects of the hospitality industry. Now at The Mandrake, one of London’s most innovative and luxurious boutique hotels, she is spearheading the Hotel, Wellness Sanctuary and members club, driving excellence in both guest service and operational efficiency.
Eljesa has always been a trailblazer for women in the hospitality sector, and her recent recognition as one of The Caterer’s 2023 Acorn 30 Under 30 winners further validates her contribution to the industry. Known for her strategic mindset and ability to enhance guest experiences, Eljesa’s leadership has also played a pivotal role in securing other notable accolades for The Zetter Hotel Group, such as the ‘Best in Tech’ award at The Caterer’s 2022 Hotel Cateys.
Beyond her professional achievements, Eljesa continues to champion equality and social responsibility. Eljesa actively mentors young people, delivering talks in schools across London to inspire future generations of hospitality professionals. She also plays a key role in the Zetter Scholarship with EDGE School of Hospitality, where she is part of the panel that awards this scholarship, with a focus on advancing food and beverage concepts and promoting greater diversity in the industry.
