Christine Skaar
Christine Skaar is the Founder and Creative Director of KVIST, an architectural interior design studio creating distinctive hospitality and high-end residential interiors across the UK.
An ARB registered architect and Associate of the British Institute of Interior Design, Christine brings architectural rigour to interiors, balancing guest experience and brand identity with operational and commercial requirements. Her approach considers the whole experience, from planning and circulation to materiality, lighting, acoustics, FF&E and memorable details.
Christine trained with WilkinsonEyre and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios before moving into interiors. Her experience spans hospitality, workplace, cultural and residential design, including the award-winning Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall Hotel.
Today, she leads KVIST’s creative direction from early strategy and concept through technical design, specification, procurement and delivery, creating spaces that strengthen brands, operate effectively and encourage people to return. She applies the same integrated architectural approach to exceptional private homes and complex renovations.
