Ben Harper
Ben Harper is CEO of the Watergate Bay and Another Place group which includes Watergate Bay Hotel, Another Place, The Lake, Another Place, The Machrie and SeaSpace. He leads the strategic direction of the portfolio focused on creating distinctive, experience-led destinations. Under his leadership, the group continues to innovate across hotels, leisure and lifestyle hospitality while maintaining its commitment to sustainable growth and B Corp values.
Ben is the co-founder of SeaSpace, the group's contemporary lifestyle hybrid hotel brand in Cornwall, designed for a new generation of travellers. Created to offer the flexibility and freedom of studios and apartments, where community thrives, SeaSpace combines design-led accommodation, wellness, work and social spaces to redefine coastal stays. Since launching in 2024, SeaSpace has established itself as a fresh, experience-led hospitality concept with ambitions to expand across the UK coastline.
Before joining Watergate Bay Group, Ben spent six years at SACO (now EDYN), where he helped double revenue and profitability, led the expansion of the Locke aparthotel brand into the UK and Europe, and supported the business through private equity investment to its sale to Brookfield Asset Management in 2018. His expertise in lifestyle hospitality and aparthotels continues to shape SeaSpace's vision and growth.
