Andrew Coney joined The Hari as General Manager in 2014. In this position, Andrew oversaw the transition from a US managed hotel named Belgraves, to an independent boutique in August 2016 and The Hari has grown from strength to strength under his guidance. This success has been reflected in The Hari’s TripAdvisor position, maintaining a top #10 position for the last 4 years, as well as being named the #1 Top UK Hotel, #7 in Europe and #21 In the World overall in the annual Travellers’ Choice Awards 2021 Best of The Best Hotels. Andrew’s unique management style combines a clear determination to succeed whilst ensuring the team and guests are enjoying themselves. Under his direction, staff retention has considerably increased and a key focus has been placed on the well-being of staff, fostering an employee culture which understands the importance of a work-life balance.
