Social media has transformed consumers’ decision-making process when choosing the perfect hotel to stay in, with Instagram being the main platform people use to judge the aesthetics of a hotel.

Hoteliers seem to already be recognising this, with 33% saying Instagram is their most effective social media channel for driving direct booking in a recent Avvio survey. So, love it or loath it, being ‘insta-worthy’ or ‘instagrammable’ is key when attracting visitors to your hotel.

1. L’oscar, London

Inspired by the Art Deco heritage of the building, Hotel Gotham is designed with the concept of timeless luxury. Polished and contemporary, The Tamburlaine has been designed to create an atmosphere of comfortable, understated luxury.
