Vernon Kay to reveal AA Hospitality Award Winners

The AA Hospitality Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the UK hospitality calendar, returns on Monday 22 September at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London. Bringing together over 1,000 leading hospitality professionals, the awards will spotlight the outstanding hotels, restaurants, and individuals shaping the future of the industry.

This year, renowned TV presenter and broadcaster, Vernon Kay, will take centre stage as host, guiding guests through an evening of recognition and celebration. Vernon is one of the most experienced and versatile broadcasters in the UK, with a career spanning over 20 years across live entertainment, magazine shows, radio and sports broadcasting.

The awards span 18 categories, each judged by AA inspectors to select the best hotels and restaurants across the UK, as well as shining a light on those individuals going above and beyond.  Stand out awards include the Lifetime Achievement Award (awarded to Adrian Ellis MI FIH last year), and national Hotel and Restaurants of the year awards.

This year, a brand-new award will take centre stage, celebrating the rising stars of the UK hospitality scene, the ones to truly watch. The AA Rising Star Award will be introduced this year to spotlight the industry's brightest emerging talent.

There are three categories currently accepting nominations; AA Sustainable Award sponsored by The Fine Bedding Company, the AA Housekeeper of the Year Award sponsored by Sealy and the AA Rising Star Award. More details on the award criteria and how to submit can be found here.

Speaking of the upcoming awards, Simon Numphud, Managing Director at AA Media added: “The AA Hospitality Awards have always recognised excellence, but they also celebrate the incredible passion and determination that continues to drive our industry forward. Hospitality is about people and their teams, those creating unforgettable experiences for guests, and those leading the way with fresh ideas and outstanding service. We can’t wait to shine a spotlight on them in September.”
