House of Gods is opening its first London property in Canary Wharf on 27 October 2025, marking its boldest expansion beyond Scotland. The new hotel features 79 rooms and suites and introduces Sacred Garden, a 300-cover rooftop restaurant and bar, the first of its kind in Canary Wharf, with sweeping views over Eden Dock. The development is part of a larger 65,000 sq ft leisure and hospitality hub at 12 Bank Street, led by investor Imbiba in partnership with Canary Wharf Group, and includes music, event, and dining spaces alongside the hotel.

At the Independent Hotel Show, House of Gods Co-Founder Mike Baxter surprised attendees by launching Le Coeur, a limited-edition London sparkling wine. (The wine is presented via a “Limited Edition First Drop.”) Le Coeur®
The reveal of Le Coeur underscored the session’s theme: that sensory storytelling is becoming an increasingly integral thread in boutique hospitality. Rather than being just decor, every element, from creative use of space to F&B, can help define a hotel’s character.
