Hotel F&B 2025 report to launch at Independent Hotel Show London

Auden Hospitality

Auden Hospitality will release its latest Food & Beverage Report 2025 exclusively at the Independent Hotel Show in London on 7th October 2025. Created in partnership with global benchmarking company HotStats, the report reveals how hotel F&B is holding steady as a core revenue stream — yet profitability is being eroded by labour costs and shifting guest expectations.

The findings will be unveiled by Scot Turner, Founder & Managing Director of Auden Hospitality, who will present the data and join the panel discussion From Cost Centre to Profit Driver: Rethinking Hotel F&B in Challenging Times. The session will explore the solutions hoteliers can adopt to turn margin pressure into competitive advantage.

Drawing on benchmarking data from over 12,000 hotels worldwide, the report provides a deep dive into revenue, labour, and profit trends across both markets. Alongside this, Auden Hospitality has added its own global research into hotel breakfast — one of the industry’s biggest pain points — examining cost structures, allocations, guest habits, and where hotels are losing potential revenue to external competitors.

Crucially, the report goes beyond the numbers. It provides hoteliers with clear strategies to get ahead, from smarter labour scheduling and space utilisation to rethinking breakfast as a curated experience rather than a cost burden. By focusing on guest expectations around convenience, personalisation, and time, the report demonstrates how operators can turn challenges into opportunities.

Scot Turner commented: “Hotel food and beverage is holding steady as a reliable revenue stream, but operators are working harder than ever for thinner returns. That’s why this year’s report combines hard data with strategies hoteliers can act on immediately — from rethinking breakfast to reframing F&B as a guest-driven advantage.”

Michael Grove, CEO of HotStats, added: “The data shows the pressures are shared across markets, but the opportunities lie in how operators respond. Hotels that combine discipline with innovation in F&B will set the pace for profitability in 2025.”
