“I’m delighted to be joining the Independent Hotel Show’s Power Breakfast and sharing my perspective on where independent hospitality is heading. It is always a privilege to connect with fellow hoteliers who are shaping the future of the sector, and this event offers an invaluable forum for honest conversation and fresh thinking,” says Danny.

His leadership at Exclusive Collection and commitment to sustainability, design, and talent development make him the perfect guest for our Power Breakfast. Attendees can expect an engaging and thought-provoking discussion that highlights the challenges and opportunities facing the sector today.”
Danny Pecorelli leads Exclusive Collection, a family-run independent group established in 1981, comprising seven country house properties, two spas, a golf club, cookery school, inn, and award-winning restaurants. He is widely recognised in the hospitality industry, having been named Hotelier of the Year in 2014 by The Caterer and honoured with The Brit List Outstanding Contribution to the Hospitality Industry 2024. Danny has also served as Chairman of the Master Innholders and continues to champion the development of future talent through initiatives including the Exclusive Chefs’ Academy, Graduate Manager’s Programme, and Food and Beverage Academy.
Design and innovation are central to Exclusive Collection’s evolution, with standout projects such as the striking new spa at South Lodge, the contemporary cookery school at Lainston within a 17th-century wellhouse, and cutting-edge hotel bathrooms. With over 900 employees, a £65 million annual turnover, and numerous accolades including being recognised as one of the ‘Best Places to Work in Hospitality’, the group invests heavily in its people.
Exclusive Collection also leads in sustainable hospitality, becoming the first UK hotel group accredited as a B Corp. The group operates its own vineyard, orchards, and kitchen gardens, championing low and zero food miles, circularity, and innovative partnerships such as Olio, a food-sharing platform.
The Power Breakfast at Independent Hotel Show promises an intimate and inspiring conversation with one of the UK’s most influential hoteliers. Attendees will gain firsthand insight into the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of independent hospitality.
