Independent Hotel Show, in partnership with James Hallam Insurance Brokers, is proud to announce a special presentation of Brazilian artists curated by MM-Art Consult at this year’s event, taking place on 6–7 October 2025 at Olympia.

The showcase, curated by Marianie Morazzani, Founder of MM-Art Consult, forms part of the exhibition Redefining Luxury, which highlights contemporary art and its role in shaping refined hospitality environments. Works by renowned sculptors Antonio Spinosa and Olivier Mourão will be featured, alongside other international talents, offering hotel owners, operators, and designers a chance to explore how art can create meaningful experiences within luxury spaces.

Antonio Spinosa – Sculptor

Antonio Spinosa is a celebrated Brazilian sculptor known for his abstract, wave-like steel works that embody both movement and metaphysical inquiry. Defining himself as both sculptor and metaphysician, Spinosa translates thought and energy into dynamic forms that evoke vitality and universal vibration.

With a career spanning over four decades, Spinosa has exhibited extensively in Brazil and abroad, including at the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture (MuBE), Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB), São Paulo International Airport, Avenida Paulista, Lisbon’s National Museum of Natural History and Science, the Metropolitan Museum of Buenos Aires, and in exhibitions across New York, London, Miami, and Athens. His works are also held in major private and corporate collections such as Banco Santander Brasil and Embraer.

Spinosa’s sculptures bring sophistication and conceptual depth to luxury environments, making them highly sought after for curated art experiences.

Olivier Mourão – Sculptor

Olivier Mourão is a Brazilian artist recognised for his “simplistic maximalist” style, developed over a professional career that began in the early 1960s. His artistic journey has taken him from Carrara marble sculpture in Rome, to lithography in Paris, and Art History studies in London, with further creative exploration in New York. Today, he lives between London and Ibiza, continuing to produce work inspired by natural forms, freedom, and beauty.

Mourão’s career spans sculpture, painting, and design, with work exhibited worldwide and featured in hundreds of publications. His artistic legacy includes a collection of 145 sculptures at Monaci delle Terre Nere, a Relais & Châteaux property in Sicily, where his art creates a distinctive dialogue between space and nature.
