Benona Chocolates wins at the Great Taste Awards 2025
Benona Chocolates (Stand 2205) has won again at the Great Taste Awards 2025, picking up 3 awards. Benona received a 2-star award for their Salted Caramel, Hazelnut and Pecan flavour, plus additional 1-star awards for their Toffee Apple and Ginger flavours.
Previously, Benona Chocolates picked up 4 accolades at the 2024 awards, which included receiving the highly prestigious 3 Star award for their Raspberry flavour, 2-star award for Banoffee and 2 x 1 star awards for Amaretto Cherry and Hazelnut Praline.
Judges comments for the 2025 awards include….
Salted Caramel, Hazelnut & Pecan - The combination of caramel, hazelnut and pecan is beautifully balanced. They melt nicely in the mouth and the delicious flavour lingers nicely
Toffee Apple - A very fresh and lively apple ganache and pâte de fruit combine beautifully with the blonde chocolate. They do indeed work in harmony.
Ginger - The aroma is enticing, very chocolatey, and when you take that first bite, the crack through delivers a soft centre, giving the ginger time to develop on the palate.
