Reaching our highest level of membership in 20 years, the Institute now represents more than 17,000 members worldwide, bringing together hospitality professionals, students and apprentices, educators and businesses as part of a passionate, global community.
Professional development and recognition are at the heart of our work. Members can achieve recognised status through the use of the post-nominals AIH, MIH and FIH, while accessing resources including world-class mentoring, networking and CPD events, more than 250 online courses, a digital library, IoH Magazine, our monthly newsletter and the I’m In podcast, now listened to in more than 95 countries.
In 2026, we launched our revised IoH Management Standards, providing a practical, industry and career-long framework to support development, leadership and business performance. We also launched our new website, improving accessibility, navigation and functionality across our growing range of resources and services for professionals, teams, students, graduates and education institutional members.
With programmes now spanning 23 countries, the Institute provides professional recognition to more than 1,100 hospitality programmes and qualifications, working with employers and education providers to raise industry standards worldwide.
As a registered UK charity, we are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and hold Disability Confident Employer Level 2 status. As the professional body for hospitality, we are proud to champion the profession and the people who are shaping its future.
