Using a backpack vacuum, trained Rentokil technicians collect a sample of air from the door of a hotel room. This provides minimum disruption to businesses, as technicians don't need to fully enter a room to collect a sample.

Once collected, Rentokil send the sample to specially trained dogs, who are able to detect any bed bug activity in the room. This solution provides early detection, as the dogs are four times more effective at detecting early bed bug activity compared to human inspections, which allows businesses to treat the infestation before it develops further.
